Fundraising for Sarikoy Elementary School

In the beginning of July, we have launched a campaign to raise $5,000 to improve the physical conditions of Sarikoy Elementary School. We exceeded this goal by raising $6,039 in less than two weeks with the support of our wonderful friends!

Our special thanks go to OCTAA from Orange County, Emel Singer and Sel Yackley of Chicago, and Kardelen Turkish Dance Ensemble, for their help in raising these funds.

A breakdown of the funds for Sarikoy is as follows:

• $2,400 from Friends of Anatolia donors
• $1,895 from Chicago volunteers (with the leadership of Emel Singer and Sel Yackley)
• $1,410 from OCTAA
• $334 from Kardelen Turkish Dance Ensemble

Total: $6,039
