Sarikoy Elementary School project is completed as of October 21, 2005!

Opening Ceremony

Sarikoy opening ceremonyThe Sarikoy Elementary School project is completed with an opening ceremony held at Sarikoy village in Midyat. President Demet Yezgi and our devoted volunteers Basak Toker, Ozhan Abat, and our local coordinator Ozlem Tekin went to the village on October 21, 2005.

Educational Materials :

Once the repair works are completed, we have provided educational materials for the students and the school in general. You can see the detailed list of those materials here.

Students' response :

The students of Sarikoy were very happy to see that their classrooms are larger now. To thank us, they wrote letters and drew pictures. You can view them here.


Conclusion :

Friends of Anatolia is proud to complete its Sarikoy school repair project succesfully. We have reached all the targets that we had promised to our donors and the students.

We would like to thank our donors and our volunteers again for their strong support that enabled us to make a positive impact on the lives and future of the students at Sarikoy Elementary.
