Dibekduzu Elementary School project is completed as of October 20, 2005!

Opening Ceremony

Opening ceremonyThe renovation of Dibekduzu Elementary School building is completed with an opening ceremony held at Dibekduzu village. Our Dibekduzu team included president Demet Yezgi and our devoted volunteers Basak Toker, Ozhan Abat, and our local coordinator Ozlem Tekin.

The local governer "kaymakam" of Siverek, Seddar Yavuz, was also attended the ceremony. To see more photos, click here.

Students' response :

Students drawing pictures with their new crayonsThe students of Dibekduzu were very happy to see that their school is now a much better and safer place to learn. As a reflection of their gratitude, they wrote letters and drew pictures for us. To see them, click here.

Conclusion :

Friends of Anatolia is proud to compelete its first school repair project with 100% success. We have reached all the targets that we had promised to our donors.
