Baris KARADOGAN: Baris has been with USVP since 2001, focusing on communications and semiconductor investments.

At USVP, Baris works closely with CipherTrust, Aspendos Communications, Redline Communications, Dilithium Networks, Everypath, MaXXan Systems, and Minerva Networks.

Prior to USVP, Baris worked at 3Com and U.S. Robotics for five years in engineering and marketing, where he focused on building the first DOCSIS cable modem solutions.

Baris holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Lafayette College, where he graduated summa cum laude. Baris also holds and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Tau Beta Pi. Baris received an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.

Baris is active with the Turkish American Business Connection, where he has been a panelist and speaks frequently on the topics of technology and venture funding. Married with three young children, Baris is proud they can all speak Turkish, English and Spanish. Baris enjoys playing tennis, soccer and basketball.

Until recently, Baris was an advisor for Friends of Anatolia and currently serves on the Board of Directors.
