School Projects Coordinator

Title: School Projects Coordinator

Objective: Oversee the school renovation projects in Turkey.

Responsibilities: To work with the Programs Committee and our coordinator in Turkey on the planning, executing, and reporting phases to the school renovation projects, to coordinate our volunteers in Turkey who will work on these projects, to recruit more volunteers in Turkey for these projects, to review the renovation contracts and bring it in front of the board to be approved, to ensure all the steps are documented properly, to create a report once the projects are completed.

Qualifications: Detail oriented personality with good organizational and project management skills. Experience with MS Project 2003 is preferred, but not required.

Average Time Commitment: 6-8 hours per month during Summers, 1-2 hours per month for the rest of the year.

Location: You must be located around the Bay Area to come to the Volunteer Center occasionally.

Language: Basic English, fluent Turkish

Measure of Success: Number of school projects completed without any problems.
